2 – Prices and taxes
Prices are shown under the photograph of each item. They include VAT when the customer adress is inside the European Union, otherwise they exclude VAT.
3 – Orders
Orders are to be exclusively placed through the stelvision.com website.
On reception of an order a confirmation mail will be sent to you.
4 – Payment
Payment of order shall be made online by Credit Card.
5 – Right of Withdrawal
In compliance with article L121-21 of the French Consumer Code, you have a right to a 14-day cooling off period beginning on the day you receive your purchase.
Exercising the right of withdrawal will mean returning the products at Customer’s expense (date as per postmark).
Thank you for informing us by mail or phone that you are exercising your withdrawal right.
In compliance with article L121-21-4 of the French Consumer Code, refunding will occur by bank cheque or by re-crediting your bank account on reception of the returned articles, subject to the reception of all ordered articles in their original packaging and condition.
6 – Order Processing and Transportation Time
Shipments take place from Monday to Friday. On reception of your online payment, articles are shipped on the same day for an order paid before 12pm (Paris time) or the next day for an order paid after 12pm, except on weekends and bank holidays.
As far as possible, we try to communicate on possible stock shortages before you confirm your order. When one of the articles of your order is out of stock, your order is put on hold until the article is again available.
In the case it is not possible to inform you before your confirm your order, we contact you at the earliest possible date to inform you and offer you to change or cancel your order.
Once your order has been prepared, the package is handed over to La Poste or to a carrier for transportation to the delivery address. Transportation time will depend on the chosen shipment method. Standard delays for each shipment method are shown on our website based on information provided by postal services and carriers. These delays are expressed in working days, except in case of postal transportation problems.
We are using very reliable transportation services. However, a delay in the delivery or the temporary loss of a package may sometimes still occur. In the case of a delay of more than 7 days, please inform Stelvision’s Customer Services and in turn they will inform La Poste or the carrier so as to initiate an inquiry. Such an inquiry may last up to 21 days from it being started. If during this period the package is found, it will be immediately re-sent to the delivery address (most cases). If on the other hand the package has not been found by the end of the 21-day period, it will be considered as lost. In that case, Stelvision will ship a replacement package at its own costs. If the lost product(s) was/were no longer available by that time, Stelvision will refund you the amount corresponding to this/these product(s).
In the case of a delay of more than 7 days compared to the delay indicated at the time of the order, you will have the possibility of cancelling your order by contacting Stelvision Customer Services by mail or phone.
7 – Shipping fees
A flat rate will be invoiced to cover all/part of the packing and transportation costs. The level of that rate will depend on the chosen shipment method. It can be reduced or free of charge above a certain volume of purchased goods, as indicated on the online shop website at the time of the order.
8 – Guarantee
This paragraph is a reminder of the French law. Other conditions may apply depending on your country.
Legal warranty applies under conditions laid down in the law. The rights concerned by articles L.211-4, L.211-5, L.211-12, L.211-9 and L.133-3 of the French Consumer Code and articles 1641 and 1648 paragraph 1 of the Civil Code all apply.
We are held responsible of the lack of conformity of the goods under conditions of article L 211-4 and following of the Consumer Code, as well as of the hidden defects of sold items under conditions provided in articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code.
When acting in the legal compliance framework:
- You have two years to act as off goods delivery;
- You can choose between having the goods repaired or replaced, subject to the cost conditions provided in article L. 211-9 of the Consumer Code (i.e. if the choice infers a cost overtly disproportionate in regards with the other terms, we will proceed in accordance with the other terms);
- You are in no obligation to prove the existence of the lack of conformity for the twenty-four months following the delivery of the goods.
The legal compliance guarantee applies independently from the possibly granted commercial guarantee.
You can decide to implement the guarantee against hidden defects of sold goods under article 1641 of the Civil Code and in that case you can choose between cancelling the sale or benefiting from a reduced sales price in accordance with article 1644 of the Civil Code.
9 – Communication of personal data to La Poste or to the carrier
Certain personal data might be communicated to our logistics provider (Company e-Logik based in Toulouse, France) to help them prepare your package, then also to our transportation service provider (La Poste or a carrier such as DHL or Mondial Relay) for them to carry out the delivery of the goods. In particular, your postal coordinates, your email address and possibly your phone number will be transmitted to them. These service providers agree to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data transmitted by Stelvision and to try and keep them in safety conditions in accordance with the good practices and provisions of the rules relating to personal data. They agree not to use them for any other purpose than the implementation of their services, i.e. preparing and transporting your package, informing you when it is available and possibly proceeding to customer satisfaction surveys.
